Rationale of the Top30Under30 Top30Under30 is out to find outstanding young entrepreneurs on the continent under the age of 30. Our goal is to honor and empower these people by connecting them to the formidable resources of the Business community, with the overall goal of building African Brands that can take on the world. Our winners may be very different in personality, but they will have this in common: They will be doing something that has extraordinary economic and social potential. Eligibility Any young African, based on the continent who is 29 years old or younger on September 30, 2008, is eligible for the 2008 Inaugural feature. Nominations Nominations will be accepted via www.top30under30.com from members of the public. The Top30Under30 Team will also pro-actively seek out suitable candidates and the shortlisting will be coordinated with the Branson School of Entrepreneurship. Nominations will be open on March 26 2008, and the winners will be selected by an independent jury of eminent personalities meeting in October 2008 at the Tinapa Business Resort, Calabar, Nigeria, where the finalist will face the judges in a live telecast to be aired on national, regional, and international media networks. The winners will be unveiled during the Gala Dinner, and they will be inducted into the Inaugural class of the Top30Under30. |
